“In collaboration with the Bombay Orchestra Society and guest conductor Robert Ryker, American pianist Teresa Walters will perform with the Bombay Orchestra at the new National Center for the Performing Arts on September 16. An internationally acclaimed pianist with an extensive global touring schedule, Teresa Walters has in recent times performed as recitalist and orchestral soloist on 6 continents and in most of the 50 states of the USA at prestigious venues, ranging form Carnegie Hall to Moscow’s Great hall, the Salle Cortot in Paris to the Australian International Conservatorium. She is regarded as one of the finest interpreters of Liszt today and has several recordings to her credit. The American Record Guide has announced that “her competition is virtually nil.” 

The concert will feature compositions by Beethoven (Concerto for Piano and Orchestra No. 5, Op. 73 – Emperor), Rossini (Barber of Seville – Overture) and Schubert (Symphony No. 4 – Tragic).”
