“A full house, magnificent music, and standing ovations all resonated beautifully in Dolan Performance Hall on November 2, 2008. The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra and internationally acclaimed pianist Teresa Walters performed for a full house who gathered for the gala event.

The program included Fantasia on Hungarian Themes by Franz Liszt, Symphony No. 9 “From the New World” by Antonin Dvorak, Edvard Griegs’s Peer Gynt Suite and more.

Commented Teresa Walters, “The music selected for this concert includes some of the world’s greatest masterpieces and the NJSO is widely considered to be one of the country’s premier orchestras. I have played the Hungarian Fantasy in Liszt’s homeland and it is a joy for me to perform it here with this great orchestra and conductor in the metropolitan New York area that is my home.”
