“Globetrotting pianist Teresa Walters arrives in our region next weekend for two area concerts. Lovers of classical music will not want to miss this opportunity to hear the performer, described by Austrian National Television as “one of the world’s most significant pianists”.
On Friday, September 26, Walters performs for the Lively Arts Series at the historic Al Ringling Theatre. Her 8 PM recital is sponsored by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.
On Sunday afternoon September 28, she appears as Guest Artist at Carthage College in Kenosha with a 3 PM performance in Siebert Chapel.
Teresa Walters maintains an extensive international touring schedule which includes the world’s major concert halls as well as community and campus settings. Her program for our area includes a variety of composers from several style periods.” |
