"There are not a lot of letters in her name, but trust us, Teresa Walters is a really big name in the music world. This pianist performs extensively throughout the world, everywhere from Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center to the Great Hall of Moscow and the Geneva Conservatoire. Add this name to her list: the Newport Performing Arts Center. She will give a solo recital at 2 pm Oct. 2 on the new Steinway D, as part of the Sunday Piano Series. The Oregon Coast Council for the Arts welcomes Teresa Walters to the Newport Center Alice Silverman stage in the fifth out of seven performances to showcase a wide variety of piano artists."
