Renowned Pianist at Rome’s Piazza San Lorenzo “Internationally acclaimed pianist Teresa Walters performs at Rome’s Piazza San Lorenzo on Saturday, April 28 at 19:00. Her program is titled “500th Birthday Party: A Musical Celebration” and includes works by Bach, Busoni, Liszt and St. Francis of Assisi. The New York Times describes her as “The International First Lady of Piano” for her stunning performances in the world’s most prestigious concert venues. Austrian National Television calls Teresa Walters “a rare musical phenomenon” and “one of the world’s most significant pianists.”
Her gala concerts at Beijing’s Forbidden City Concert Hall and Copenhagen’s Hungarian Embassy received wide acclaim. Her concert in Rome is part of an international tour this season honoring the Quincentennial of the Reformation.
