“The Chaney Music Symposium features International Steinway Artist Teresa Walters in a piano recital at 7:30 PM Friday in the Wesley Black Fine Arts Building at Central Christian College.  Walters will perform a full program of works by Franz Liszt, honoring the bicentennial of Liszt.

Hailed as “The International First Lady of Piano,” Walters has performed as a recitalist and orchestral soloist on six continents at such prestigious venues as Carnegie Hall, Moscow’s Great Hall, New York’s Lincoln Center, London’s Wigmore Hall, Paris’s Salle Cortot, and Jerusalem’s Concert Hall.  She is currently recording a series of piano works of Liszt for Archangelus Records.

Area students will perform in a Master Class led by Walters at 9:30 AM Saturday in Greer Auditorium.   All events are open to the public.”
