Pianist Teresa Walters Performs Benefit for Humane Society The Bergenite

“Teresa Walters, the “First Lady of Piano” will perform a benefit concert on Saturday, Feb. 26 at 7 p.m. at St. John’s Church in Rutherford. The benefit will support the Bergen County Humane Society. Walters has received prestigious invitations to perform the same program under sponsorship of Copenhagen’s Hungarian Embassy as well as at Beijing’s National Center for Performing Arts in honor of the Bicentennial of composer Franz Liszt. All proceeds will benefit the Humane Society of Bergen County where she adopted her cat Max. Tickets are available at the door or in advance from the Humane Society. A reception will be held after the concert. The reception will include information and photos of animals available for adoption.”
